Elevating Professional Standards in the Business Events Industry

The Professional Conference Organisers Association (PCOA) is the leading association representing business event professionals across Australia and New Zealand. Our purpose is to advance professionalism, ethical conduct, best practice, education and industry leadership across the business events sector.

Membership of PCOA is a privilege that reflects a commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards. As the premier association representing this community, PCOA seeks to ensure that all members uphold the values, reputation and professional standing of the industry.

Submission of this application does not automatically confer membership. All applications are subject to review and approval by PCOA in accordance with the Association's Rules, Membership Criteria and Code of Professional Conduct. Applicants are required to provide accurate and complete information and make the following declarations in support of their application.

Individual and Organisation membership of the PCOA is available to PCO’S, Incentive Houses, DMC’s, Event Managers working in Associations, Corporate Organisations or Government Departments and event management students.

Individual Membership - $175
Organisation Membership - $850 (Inclusive of five (5) memberships)
Student Membership $25

N.B. All fees are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.

• I understand that submission of this application and payment of membership fees does not guarantee admission to membership.
• I acknowledge that PCOA may make reasonable enquiries to verify information provided in this application.
• I understand that PCOA may refuse an application where it considers admission may be inconsistent with the interests, reputation, values or professional standards of the Association.
• I acknowledge a continuing duty to disclose any matter that may reasonably affect my eligibility for membership or standing as a Member.
• I understand that providing false, misleading or incomplete information may result in refusal, suspension or termination of membership.

I acknowledge that membership may be suspended or terminated in accordance with the PCOA Rules and Code of Professional Conduct, including where a Member is no longer considered to be in good standing within the industry.

Membership of PCOA is granted at the discretion of the Association following consideration of the application and supporting information provided. PCOA reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate membership in accordance with its Rules, governance processes and Code of Professional Conduct.
